Thats why I quit that game!

Ello All (4 readers at present), First of all I would like to thank you for signing up here and for showing interest in my blog. I hope I'll be able to provide you with a bit of weekly entertainment with my writing/ranting. So... On to a different matter! Just letting you know that I plan to do a weekly update on this blog, starting around august 10th. The game is called Auto Assault, made by NetDevils and released by NCSoft Auto what? Most of you have probably never heard of this game... and those of you who have heard of it, probably wished you hadnt. But let me tell you this! If you've only ever heard of the game, then consider yourself lucky, because some of us actually played it, and I must admit that sometimes I still have bad dreams about playing that game. :p Looking back at it, (it was released sometime in 2006... it doesnt really matter to be honest, the game would have been considered crap, even if it was released in 1995) I played the beta, and never picked it up after release... Now some of you might find this a bit unfair, and you'll sling the usual: ' But its Beta! Expect Bugs! ' in my face... Before I start... let me say that this is a post I made on my guild's forum, years ago when EverQuest2 was still in its early beta phase. (yes, I was a naughty naughty boy! I leaked beta information whilst I was under NDA... :( Of course, I never do things like that anymore, I just didnt know any better, back then!... honestly ;) ) So lets take a ride in my time machine! We're warping back to early 2004! Imagine that you're an ex-everquest1 player, eagerly awaiting news of a much anticipated sequel... *drumroll* EverQuest2 - Early Beta lets put it this way... My fondest memory of EverQuest 2 was while i was downloading the client... I was imagining how cool the game would be, super graphics and a totally revised crafting system! wow! all that came crashing to the ground as i finally managed to log into the game... its a fucking lagfest, imagine Star Wars galaxies with stinking everquest pushed so far up its ass that you end up with npcs speaking like Yoda and reading thei...
